LCD Design was founded in response to a fragmented hospitality design industry - overextended [and often under-experienced] teams, diluted authorship and sense of responsibility, and inefficient delivery.
LCD operates with a single point of responsibility, integrating design, technical coordination, project oversight, and owner representation into a continuous process.
Led by Linda, each project is developed from preliminary programming through opening day, aligning design intent with budget, schedule, and operational realities.
Design is not insular - it is resolving of systems to create an aesthetic solution.
Every decision, from spatial planning to detailing, is considered during the process. The guest experience and operations influence the design, creating a result that feels inevitable rather than decorative.
SPACE PLANNING
Plans are developed from the inside out—tested through movement, use, and repetition. Every seat, path, and threshold is considered in relation to both guest experience and operations. Resolving the most challenging of spaces, LCD promotes a successful layout as the foundation of each compelling design.

DESIGN CONTINUITY
Concept through execution remains under a single authorship. This eliminates dilution and ensures clarity across all scales—from spatial strategy sketches to millwork detail. Concepts from 3d are easily translated to design documentation and reference imagery into details. No avenue of design is neglected or discouraged and each component of the process is utilized.

TECHNICAL INTEGRATION
Design is developed alongside systems. Mechanical, electrical, and structural coordination are embedded early, reducing friction during construction. Design decisions from MEP coordination are considered during concept and the process is cyclical to guarantee a comprehensive approach to both design and reality.

CUSTOMIZATION
Sourcing is critical to meeting budgetary and schedule requirements. Off-the-shelf may be sufficient. Elements will be sourced, adapted, or designed as needed - always aligned with budget and intent.
With over two decades of experience in hospitality design, LCD has developed projects ranging from intimate restaurants to private residential to large-scale developments.
LCD’s work spans concept development, architectural coordination, and construction oversight—always with a focus on clarity, efficiency, and execution.
